Cumbria Constabulary are seeking transferee police constables/detective constables to fill vacancies within our Serious and Organised Crime Unit (SOCU).
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a skilled and dedicated team who are deployable across the county and nationally.
Successful officers would be utilised in the delivery of our covert policing response and would also perform the role of OIC for serious and complex crime investigations.
Surveillance trained officers are sought to support this unit. Officers would preferably have obtained Q1 surveillance accreditation and have successfully passed the advanced driving course.
Consideration would be given to officers who have passed the pre-select assessment in the last 2 years and are working towards achieving driving and surveillance qualifications. I am happy to discuss individual circumstances with an applicant and would welcome contact with any questions.
Candidates would need to be flexible and deployable often at short notice.
A full driving licence and the willingness to complete PIP2 investigator training is mandatory.
Please contact me directly with any questions around this advert and I will be happy to arrange an informal discussion to assist you with any questions/concerns -
